**** Off Writers’ Block – Nobody Likes You
Writers block… GAH!
I have the ideas – it’s putting them on paper. I’m not satisfied until I have the perfect words. Even if something is good; it’s not good enough. It’s got to be perfect.
I haven’t worked on my script “Kellerman’s Story” in a while, although when I do I find it pretty easy (I seem to be pretty good with dialogue). I’ve been focusing on my new novel “Stealing Caroline” (I will put the summary on my website soon, keep a look out!) and I’m going to type up and edit some more of “Aftermath” right now!
However, I think I need a small break from “Stealing Caroline” for just a few days. I might try writing a few simple poems, which seems to help with writers’ block. If I’m struggling for ideas, I usually read a good book (reading Stephen King’s “Bag of Bones” at the moment) or I write on wordpress to get the ‘creative juices flowing’. Writing something else or working on another simpler project seems to help me too. So, I suppose I best get crackin’, hoping that one thing will lead to ideas for another. (Usually works, don’t let me down!)
